What is SIL?
SIL stands for Supported Independent Living. It’s NDIS funding that covers the day-to-day help you might need while living in your own home or a shared setup.
That might include:
Personal care like showering and getting dressed
Cooking meals and help with food prep
Keeping the house clean and tidy
Getting to appointments or social activities
Building everyday life skills at your pace
The funding helps pay for the support team that works alongside you, not the house itself. If you also need a purpose-built home, that’s where SDA (Specialist Disability Accommodation) comes in. At 4u Care, we offer both, so we can help you figure out the best setup based on your plan and preferences.
