1:1 Support
The Right Support, Right When You Need It
At 4u Care, 1:1 means one support worker focused on one participant. No distractions, no juggling. Just good people showing up consistently and doing things properly.
Whether it’s heading out for the day, working on independence, or just having someone there to back them in everyday moments, we build our support around what feels right for them.
Finding the right support for someone you love can feel like a lot. You want to know they’ll be safe, understood and cared for by someone who actually gets them. That’s where 1:1 support makes all the difference.
What does 1:1 really mean?
One support worker. One participant.
Full attention.
This kind of support works best for people who:
Prefer a familiar face, not a rotating roster
Have higher or more complex needs
Need support that’s predictable, calm and steady
Enjoy one-on-one over group settings
It’s about comfort. It’s about safety. And most of all, it’s about making everyday life feel easier.
Why 1:1 families stick with 4u Care

✔ Sending the same support crew so your person feels safe and seen
✔ Being trained, backed and confident in providing higher needs care
✔ Making the whole thing feel doable, not overwhelming
We’re known for:
You’ve probably heard the stories of other providers with support workers who don’t show up. Roster changes every week. Providers who talk a big game but fall short when things get tricky. That’s not us.
We show up, we stick around, and we build the kind of trust that turns into real, lasting support. This is who we are, and that’s why people stay.
Let’s talk Complex Care
We get it “complex care” sounds like something you’d read in a report. But for many families, it’s just the care their person has always needed.
That might mean extra help with mobility, medical support for epilepsy or PEG feeding, or behavioural support that requires more experience and more hands. When we talk about support ratios like 1:1 or 2:1, we’re simply talking about how many support workers are there for one participant.
At 4u Care, we offer a lot of services at the 1:1 ratio: one support worker focused entirely on one person. But when someone needs a bit more help, whether that’s for physical needs, medical conditions, or behaviours, we step it up to 2:1 support. That just means two team members working together to make sure the person gets the right level of care, safely and consistently.
At 4u Care, we offer:
1:1 support
This is our most popular support ratio: one support worker, focused entirely on one participant. Best for people who prefer personalised care, want consistency, or feel more comfortable with individual attention.
2:1 support
Two support workers to one participant. Ideal for those needing extra help with mobility, safety, or medical care. Great for peace of mind and active days.
