About 4u Care
We Bring the Good Care, So You Can Live the Good Life
Our job? Making your day-to-day easier and on your terms.
We’re here to make everyday life smoother, safer, and more fun for people with disability with support that shows up, sticks around, and actually cares.
The Mission That Drives Us
We’re here to provide support that works in real life, with real people. At 4u Care, we believe care should feel steady, respectful, and human. We’re on a mission to radically improve the lives of people living with disability. Not by promising the world, but by showing up, listening properly, and building relationships that last.
We create environments where difference is celebrated and abilities are backed. Where joy, choice, and belonging aren’t just side effects, but the whole point.
If you've ever been told "you can't," we’ll ask, "why not?"
The Right Support, Right When You Need It
Complex Care You Can Count On
Need 1:1 or 2:1+ support? That’s what we’re all about. And we take it seriously. At 4u Care, we work with participants who have a range of needs, including high and complex support requirements. That might mean physical support, behaviour support, medical needs, or just an extra set of hands to make the day run smoothly.
We don’t send you someone random five minutes before their shift. We get to know you, match you with trained staff, and make sure the ratio is right. It’s about safety, trust, and creating a day that actually works for you.
Our team is trained properly (think hands-on pre-employment training and ongoing paid qualifications), and our vans are purpose-built for comfort, access, and independence. We’ve got the team and the systems to deliver reliable, respectful support.
What We Believe And How It Shows Up
At 4u Care, values aren’t just buzzwords printed on the wall they show up in how we treat people, how we turn up to shifts, and how we handle the hard stuff. Here’s what we believe in, plain and simple:
Share the love. We check in, follow through, and always take the time. Kindness is our default. Whether it's a lift to an appointment, or help with the little things, we lead with care, not ego.
Believe in better. There’s always room to grow, and we’ll take that step with you. We’re always looking for ways to level up for our participants and for ourselves. Training, growth, trying new things? That’s our jam.
Don’t hold back. We show up with energy. Whether it’s karaoke in the car or staying calm in a crisis, we’re here with our whole selves, every shift. And we want you to bring your whole self too. We’ll make space for it.
Challenge ‘normal’. We don’t fit a mold, and we don’t expect you to either. We don’t do cookie-cutter care. We listen, we adapt, and we back your version of a good life, not someone else’s idea of what it should be.
Own it. Integrity is showing up, even when it’s hard. We do both. We’re responsible, reliable, and not afraid to roll up our sleeves. If something’s not right, we fix it.
Make things happen. Good intentions are a start. Action is the goal. We’re a "let’s go" kind of crew. We’re not waiting to care better, laugh louder, or make today a little easier for someone.
What Sets 4u Care Apart
We Prioritise Fit, Not Just Filling a Shift
We take time to match the right support worker to the right person, not just the one who’s free. We ask better questions and pay attention to the details that matter.
We’re Built for Complexity
Our team is trained to support people with high and complex needs.
We deliver 1:1 and 2:1 support, we operate a fleet of purpose-built vans, and we don’t blink at tricky logistics, we plan for them.
We Back Our People
Our team gets proper training from day one, sponsored quals, paid study time, travel and cancellation allowances, birthday leave, health perks, and real backing when it counts. When support workers also feel supported, valued, and looked after, they deliver better care and participants feel the difference.
We Speak Like Humans
Our emails sound like they’re actually from people, because they are. We return phone calls, because we actually care. And when something’s unclear, we’ll walk you through it. No attitude. No overwhelm. If it matters to you, it matters to us.
